Trade category rules
TrustPass uses a simple category system to reduce risk, protect users, and support compliance workflows.
Allowed
Common services that are generally low-risk and can be listed by default.
- General maintenance
- Cleaning
- Gardening
- Basic handyman work
Restricted
Extra checks required (licenses, certificates, insurance, or site controls).
- Electrical (licensed)
- Gas installation
- Working at heights
- Hazardous materials handling
Prohibited
Not allowed on the platform.
- Illegal services
- Fraud / impersonation
- Any activity that violates applicable law
Note: Categories can be tightened per region and per partner policy as TrustPass rolls out.
